Electricity from the months of September inclusive to May is charged as used by guests. Summer months June to August no charge.

This can be simply calculated as follows:

Note reading on arrival, R1 and R2, viewed by pressing the button on the electricity meter. Ri is the day electricity used, R2 the evening electricity used, both are charged at a different rate. Deduct the arrival figure from the departure figure. Multiply this amount by £0.15 for R1 and £0.08 for R2, add this together and that is the charge for the electricity used.

Example of how to calculate electricity charge for your stay:

Day Unit Reading R1 on Arrival 16571, on departure R1 is 16707, difference is 136 units used.

Evening Unit Reading R2 on Arrival 26015, on departure R2 is 26198, difference is 183 units used.

Multiply 136, the R1 day total by £0.15 which is £20.40

Multiply 183, the R2 evening total by £0.08 which is £27.45

Add R1 and R2 which is £20.40 and £27.45 which equals £47.85
